  • No they didn't
Yes, they did. You're seriously arguing that Adam and Eve didn't have children?

She was made in the Garden, the 6th Day people were made to the west of the Garden
    Not in the bible.

which lines up well with Ethiopia as our ancestral homeland.
Uh, well. Some dude found some golden plates, which means that our ancestral homeland is Utah.

How can male and female appear on the 6th Day west of the Garden
    Not in the bible.

and then we're told Eve was made after Adam and she was made in the Garden?
Because there never were any "6 day people".

Either thats a contradiction or it means Eve was not among the 6th Day people.
Or it means that Adam and eve were the first.

And Adam wasn't doing anything God told the 6th Day people.
Uh, yeah he did. Are you seriously arguing that Adam and Eve never had children?

He wasn't being fruitful and subduing the Earth, he was taken by God to the Garden to work and only then did God consider a companion from among the animals. None was found so God made Eve. The 6th Day man didn't have to watch a parade of animals walk by so he could find a mate, male and female were made in the image of the gods on the same day.
What 6 day people? Do they have names?

    • Thats why Cain was worried someone would kill him in retaliation for Abel and thats how he found a wife.
Uh, if your family are the only people around and you kill your brother, why wouldn't you fear being killed in retaliation.

The term is both generic and specific, the context dictates proper use. The 6th Day "Adam" refers to mankind, the Adam from the Garden refers to 1 man.

I said they only began being fruitful and filling the world after getting kicked out of the Garden. Dont you get it? While they were in the Garden they were dis-obeying the instructions God gave the 6th Day people, therefore they were not among those people. And you're still wrong, they weren't kicked out of the Garden for dis-obeying God, they were evicted so they couldn't get to the tree of life too.

Now, you say it was Adam and Eve on the 6th Day and God told them to be fruitful and fill the Earth. Did they? No, God took Adam to the Garden to work. Why didn't he take Eve? What happened to her? According to you she was the female made on the 6th Day, but she aint around yet, God has to discover Adam doesn't want to boink a sheep before removing his rib to make her.

          Not in the bible.
          Sure it is:

And the LORD God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and there he put the man whom he had formed.
That means God made man ~west of the Garden. If the Garden lies under the Persian Gulf, the sea and coastlines heading westward lead directly to Ethiopia and our ancestral homeland from 200,000 years ago.

Uh, well. Some dude found some golden plates, which means that our ancestral homeland is Utah.
          Is he right?

Because there never were any "6 day people".
You think Adam and Eve were the 6th Day people, you just cant explain why Eve didn't show up until Adam is working in the Garden naming animals etc.

Or it means that Adam and eve were the first.
Then why didn't God take the male and female to the Garden?

What 6 day people? Do they have names?
What was the name God gave them? Adam - mankind, male and female.

No, it means nothing of the sort.

Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden
            this is from the NIV.

And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden
            this is from the KJV.

aser haadam et sam wayyasem miqqedem be eden gan elohim Yahweh wayyitta.

            Miqqedem is 'eastwards'.

            From the Septuagint:

            "Kata Avatodas" = eastwards.

Now the curious thing you really should be asking is eastwards of what? This is a significant passage, but not for the reasons you presuppose.

            • Adam and Eve were the only other people according to you, Cain didn't fear them.
Not when Cain murdered Abel. They were both adults by then.

Isn't that what I was saying - they were kicked out for disobedience to the explicit instructions of God. Face it Berz - your hypothesis is untenable.

Eastward from where mankind was made on the 6th Day, he was taken from there eastward to Eden. Thats exactly what it means, Adam was made somewhere west of Eden and taken eastward to work the Garden. Eve was made later in the Garden when God decided he needed a companion. They were not the male and female created on the 6th Day.

You said they were kicked out of the Garden for dis-obedience, not me. They weren't kicked out for disobedience, I'll quote God again:

"And Jehovah God saith, `Lo, the man was as one of Us, as to the knowledge of good and evil; and now, lest he send forth his hand, and have taken also of the tree of life, and eaten, and lived to the age,' -- 23 Jehovah God sendeth him forth from the garden of Eden
They were kicked out so they couldn't partake of the tree of life. There is nothing in there about them being punished for dis-obedience.

I said they were dis-obeying God's instructions to the 6th Day people, they were not being fruitful and filling the world. They only did that after they got kicked out of the Garden. And thats why they got kicked out, procreation in the Garden was a no-no... You were also wrong about Adam and Eve becoming one in the flesh because of marriage, they were one because Eve was made from Adam's rib.

No, 'eastward of where the guy writing Genesis lives'. It's an interesting statement by the chronicle writer.

No, that's not what it means at all. He would specify, "east of Eden", which is not what the passage says. The passage says that Eden itself is "in the east".

Why are you having so much trouble parsing this, Berz?

They were not the male and female created on the 6th Day.

The text says God took the man eastward to his Garden. He took the man from where he created him. Not where you think the writer lived, wherever that is.

When it says Adam and Eve were not being fruitful and filling the Earth as God "commanded" on the 6th Day. Adam and Eve weren't there, they were later creations. When they were fruitful God became mad and kicked them out of the Garden.

Uh, no. That's not what the sentence says. At all. The sentence says that Eden itself was 'to the east'. Which makes me wonder is it because he saw something which said, "the Garden is here", or how the writer knew that Eden was to the east of him. It's an intriguing statement, really.

No, it doesn't mean that at all. The story isn't in first person, Berzerker.

When it says Adam and Eve were not being fruitful
