It's rather a matter of both. Women and men are different in a lot of ways mentally, and the biggest way is that women believe they are women.

But my point was - who cares. You don't have to agree. Nobody has to believe any of this. All you have to do is say, okay, i'll be nice and call people what they want to be called. It matters not if I believe them or not - it doesn't hurt me at all to do what they prefer, so either they are right and there really is something fundamental here in which case I'm doing the right thing, or they're just crazy/disturbed/whatever, and I'm just being nice to them. A win-win.
