In germany the catholic church doesn´t have any problems with people (even those directly working for the church) being in the national health insurance (and I can assure you that our national health insurances also pay for abortions (after a mandatory counseling session in which alternatives are proposed))

Yes, Archbishop Dolan has been very clear about this that the Obamacare mandate is contrary to the teachings of the Catholic church and has been very vocal in ensuring that the Catholic church will not collaborate. This is like asking, "Is the sky blue?" Abortion and contraception are contrary and have always been contrary to the teaching of the Catholic church, and Obamacare in forcing Catholics to pay for it violates the first amendment of the constitution guaranteeing religious freedom.

Actually, from what I understand Catholics in Germany direct their taxes to the Church, not to the state, and are exempt from paying for abortion and contraception.
