You DID say that you've never met anyone who argued for both - which means that you were saying you've never met anyone who supports contraception but doesn't support abortion. So everyone who supports contraception does NOT support abortion - hence how could any dependancy exist even if it is a link the other way?

It is very simple - abortion is dependent on contraception. Contraception, on the other hand, is not dependent upon abortion.
