Is there any reason to think that those Muslims who immigrate to such liberal European countries would be particularly fervent? I would imagine they would be even more moderate than average for their country of origin for the simple fact that they are immigrating to Europe.

Most immigrants that have come here didn't choose so because of their liberal agenda. They came/were invited primarily to work. Simple work as that was in high demand. So the simple people (no offense meant) were recruted. They usually came from poor, undevelopped regions from their motherland. Illiteracy was (and still is) high among first generation immigrants, especially women.
The first generation wasn't particularly moderate in any sense, to the contrary: they had a very traditional background.

*I'm using Muslim loosely here since many are 'jailhouse Muslims' and they come up with the most distorted view of Islam, heavily influenced by the Nation of Islam.

What do you think? Could it be the "preacher's daughter" stigma? The daughter is out to prove she's not a goody two shoes and Philly is fighting the "City of Brotherly Love" title, which they've also internally turned into a stigma? The daughter has made the decision, conscious or not, to become a slut and Philly has made the decision to become a city of uncouth pecker heads?

According to NATO & the UN (and the EU, Canada, & the USA), Northern Cyprus does not exist.
Or if you are under the illusion that it does exist, Northern Cyprus is almost 100% Muslim.

The reality is that Cyprus and Northern Cyprus are as unitied as the Koreas or the Germanies were in the '70s. Combining their stats makes no sense. It would be like saying Korea is 50% Christian and 50% athiest.

Max is 21 years for all murders, but with the option to give him "forvaring", which means he can be locked in for the rest of his life if the requirements are met(basically: is he still a danger to the community? So when he is 89 and can't walk, out he goes...). It's better than using the new 30 year crimes against humanity law, as he then cannot be held in after the 30 years.
