Just came home from a huge torchlight/flower procession in support and solidarity of the horrible acts of 22/7. Thousands of people united in love and compassion, with the message that violence and hate is not the proper response to these vile acts, but that if ONE man can show so much hate, the love of many can and will be extraordinary.

This morning I shortly watched BBC Intl. They had an US professor of sociology/psychology to be interviewed about the killer's personality. Her first comments were: this guy's manifesto reminded her on Hitler's Mein Kampf (lost!), he was probably loner all the time (who'd have thunk?), then she went over to the crusader thing and clamied the knights templar did massacres "on their way to Jerusalem", which is nonsense, since the order was founded only ca. 20yrs after the first crusade. After two or three questions the BBC woman had enough of the nonsense, said something like "fascinating insights, but we're running out of time and have to leave it there, thankyou." Probably any ordinary polytubby who read this thread could have given answers with a bit more substance.

From his manifest I gather he's not a loner at all (except for the last three months when he is building the bomb).
I don't know much about the Templars but there has been more then one crusade...
