                Maybe it IS considered fashionable after all. I wouldn't do it though. Although I used to have a messenger bag to carry my school books.

                Though this may be one of those things where only black men and Vin Diesel can pull it off

                I suppose an important distinction is how you carry it. Do you carry it in your hand or if on your shoulders, do you carry it on the opposite shoulder (ie- over your head).

                            As a major? Physics/Astronomy and History.

                            As courses, all over the map.

                            Besides the majors, I have English, Math, Philosophy, Chemistry, French, Economics, and Computer Science in that order of concentration. 63 Credits History, 30 Credits Physics/Astronomy, 24 English credits, 18 Math credits, 12 credits in Philosophy, 12 in Chemistry, 6 in French, 3 in Econ and Compsci.

                              Messenger bags and briefcases aren't purses, Albert, even if they are topologically the same. If that were true bagels would be donuts and while both are delicious one is definitely NOT the other. I would NOT go to a Dunkin' Bagels.
