So as not to be (erroneously) accused of DanSing again, let me clarify: you must have combined a couple posts in your mind by accident. That post is exactly how I posted it the first time.



Now, to go back a few pages as to whether or not I think you're racist: no, I don't. There are three kinds of people who believe this story, which is being propogated by politicians and talk-show hosts who don't believe it at all, but like the votes/ratings that it brings in:

1. The completely gobsmackingly stupid who believe absolutely anything and everything that they hear from Limbaugh, WND, Dobbs, etc.;

2. The completely bat****, howling at the moon, ****ing insane who think of nothing but conspiracy theories all day long;

3. The racists who dislike Obama personally because of his mixed-race heritage, who want to give their dislike for him a veneer of social acceptability and have latched on to this because it is okay the hate foreigners, instead of latching on to any number of perfectly legitimate policy disagreements.


I honestly don't think you're #3; I'm just wondering if you're #1 or #2.

Well, as for number 2, no I don't believe in the 9-11 truthers. I'm not a paulbot either. I don't wear a tinfoil hat.

Secondly, I'm not a Rushbot either. I don't listen to talk shows. I admit I do like him, but I don't agree with him on immigration, (I think it's an intrinsic good).

I would characterise my views as a skeptic first and foremost. If Obama says, "trust my lips, etc" then I want some evidence. I would say my personal views are closer to Mark Steyn then they are to El Rushbo.
