Now if you change it to "I'm one of the co-owners which allows me considerable influence on what happens on this site" then I'll agree with you.
And as is widely known, I agree on most of your complaints, but making stuff up and acting like an idiot is not a bannable offense.
Some trolling is allowed and that's what he's doing to yank your chain and you're encouraging it.
Just keep calling him out whenever he spouts BS. I would think you would get satisfaction that no one here ever agrees with him. I personally think that's confirmation of my belief that he makes things up, and has the debating skills of a sixth grader. (no offense to grade schoolers)It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

What would be the point of banning Ben?
Don't we pretty much need him to say absurd things so we can argue against him? I mean, he's like our own personal strawman...

I've seen the ones on the GAP website -- they use some of those images and posters, but they've also included far more graphic images (not that the ones on the GAP website are publicly tolerable in the first place).
I don't know why I bother debating this with you. As I said already I've worked with them in the past, and continue to do so. That should be your clue that it doesn't make you look more intelligent by calling me a liar.
Additionally, I know for a FACT They didn't put up their own signs. At the time, this was in 02 or 03, when they first started this **** it became a huge deal in the paper with articles SUGGESTING they put up signs at the very least, which they refused to do (if people didn't see the images, they felt their point was lost).
I know for a fact you know dick all about what went on at the University of Calgary despite your claims to be involved, because what you're saying directly contradicts what I've seen with my own eyes. If Zylka was still posting, I'm sure he'd back me up on this.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

I don't give a **** what you think standard procedure is. I find it amusing you think there is some kind of strict, unbreakable regimen that student groups adhere to just because they buy signs from the GAP people. There's no possible way, in your world, for these radicals to include their own signs or not post warning signs.
Their actions detailed in the article speak volumes. They're interested in showing the pictures to people who DON'T want to see them, that's why they refused to turn the displays inwards so only people who go to see them, can see them. The signs would have the same effect: If they put up big disclaimers about graphic images of mutilated children ahead, people would steer clear of it -- so they don't do it. I don't give a **** if it's in your standard operating procedures, clearly it is not being done here. These students made it clear they're up for forcing these images upon people -- no signs, and not turning the displays inwards so only people who wanted to saw them.
I'm not sure WTF you mean by I can't get the year right -- it's inconsequential! It was 1st or 2nd year, I can't remember which but it doesn't ****ing matter. I "attended" the display because the display was in a bottleneck on campus. 99% of students had to walk by it every day to get from class to class, you act like it was in some obscure area of campus that I must've missed every year they did it. That's absurd. It wasn't just ONE year, Ben, it was EVERY year -- so EXCUSE ME for not remembering the exact year they started doing it, but it DOESN'T MATTER (you ****ing lying scum)."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."
