The legal issue aside, there is precidents of what is considered decent to show in public. The holocaust images are placed in enclosed structures such as museums and universities, where there is a more intellectual atmosphere and, more importantly, where people have a choice whether they wish to see those kinds of images. There is also a warning concerning the graphic nature of the images, before you even enter the room. The anti-abortion rallies are entirely anti-choice. They place these pictures in public squares where people are given no warning to what they will see. In addition, the pictures are dubious and obviously doctored (as I've stated before) for simple shock value. There is no intent for or atmosphere of intellectual discussion. It is simply trolling. People who claim to have been, were convinced of it long before the rally. Only a moron would truly be influenced by them. So, in short, they are a public nuisance and should be prohibited to be displayed as they currently are.

The GAP display has warning signs everywhere well before you can see the display. This way no one can see the display before seeing the warning signs. The signs are usually labelled, "Warning, Graphic Abortion pictures ahead".
