In the US it'll return Chicago as the first result because it's contextually aware.

But clearly UofC is best associated with the University of Calgary worldwide. I've already won this argument several times on the site.

I wouldn't even argue the point with you, it seems logical that it would do that.

      ACK!

Why Europe would show Calgary first is strange though.

The University of Calgary is referred to the UofC in an official capacity and internationally, Chicago is referred to as UofC by the locals only -- it's a nickname.

While I agree that Ben is dishonest, willfully ignorant and generally obnoxious, I don't think the mods would be in the right to take Asher's side in this particular spat. Not to the extent of banning Ben, anyway. It would be perfectly reasonable to offer some restrictions, but Ben is a master at sidestepping the letter of the law; I'd say it's his greatest talent. Methinks it'd be nigh impossible to put any policy in place that didn't specifically target BK (which is unfair even if it is the only workable option).

What Asher is doing is deliberate violation of site rules, intended as a provocation. Ming ain't gonna let that **** slide, and TBH I don't think I would if I were him either. Even if I do like Asher far more than BK.

Calgary doesn't have the two storey buses, parliament buildings or a palace.

It should be against the rules to be deliberately disingenuous and dishonest with alarming frequency.

Who should be the decider on what is or is not stupid?
In Ben's case it's quite easy to determine that almost everything that comes out of his mouth is made up. He never has proof and just keeps sidestepping into a different arguement when challanged until he has nowhere esle to sidestep to and abandons the thread.
But for the less obvious stupid people it's not always so easy.
Granted it would be nice if I could just arbitrarily say, you're banned because you're stupid, but then there wouldn't be many people left posting.

So until we come up with definitive guidelines and decide how to enforce them, ben gets to stay.
