  • Not necessarily. They like to add stuff in later and be a little less forthcoming in their interviews at times.

If Starbuck isn't a half cylon, than she's a full one... she knows the Cylon song (her dad taught her when she was a kid), she came back to life... or else she's something else. Maybe she's the creator/mother of the Final 5 .

          • Big fan of the piano-infused last episode, and the foreshadowing "when did you get a piano" to the bartender the ep. before.

I've always been partial to Tyrol. While I was able to overlook how contrived Boomer's "homelife" was, it ended up as a crucial device that played out well in the end. As a fan of tragic characters, I'm really enjoying this outcome.

            • Good ep that one, I kinda forgot about Boomer, but she was eeeeeeevil. Good stuff with the piano too.

Also: very odd seeing Apollo in the new UK version of Law and Order, as a proper Brit, guv.

              • Well, Galactica is going to be dead in just three episodes and they're really building up to that point. First the stress damage to the ship now Boomer has ****ed up the front side of the ship. I suspect they'll have a big final show down with the enemy Cylons near what will become their new home world where Cavel's basestar and the Galactica both get distroyed along with maybe the rebel base star. I mean to really end a show called Battlestar Galactica they have to destroy the Galactica. There is just no way around it.

Naw, she's just getting close to dying. Remember a dying leader leads the people to their new home so she can't die until they find their new home.

                  • Galactica could be the "dying leader" though .

                    • It definitely seems that good old Galactica won't make it to the end. And I recall a theory somewhere that it's really Galactica that is the "dying leader".

                      • Heh, xpost. But either way, I really don't think Roslin will survive, either. The overall narrative almost seems to demand her death before the end. Lately though, she's really been more of a despot than the leader she used to be.

                        • She always was somewhat of a despot (or despot wannabee)

                          • So Baltar's arrogance revels to the fleet that Kara is a zombie or vampire. Good going, Gaius.

And Galactica is to be retired. Seems from the promos for next week that Galactica is going to be used on one last mission... going up against Cavil's forces to get Hera back. Should be damned fun!

                              • 2 hours is a decent amount of time, especially if they end it as I think they will... Galactica sacrificing itself against Cavil's fleet with a raptor sent out with Hera (and perhaps Starbuck?) to find the rest of the fleet.

edit: make that 3 hours (1 hour on 3/13, 2 hours on 3/20)
