  • What's the deal with the Caprica prequel detailing the first human Cylon war? When is it supposed to start? It would be great if they have Caprica start shortly after BSG ends.

I was surprised how many of the actors/esses where actually British and that the head of the Sci-Fi Channel is also British. Clearly this is British cultural imperialism.

      • "The Plan" movie apparently covers events that were happening before the attack and during Season 1, largely from a Cylon point of view. The movie has more on the story of Cavil and will show what the Final Five were up to at that time.

The Caprica prequel doesn't detail the first war, it predates those events. It has been said, at different times, that the prequel would end with the Cylons being created or with the first war breaking out but either way, it doesn't cover the war. It's a story about the Adama family and the creation of Cylon Centurions.

Cavil must surely have known the location all along, in order for Boomer to make it back there to kidnap Hera in the first place...

          • Awesome, awesome, awesome! So BSG actually becomes the first Earthlings and head Baltar and Caprica (as well as Starbuck it seems) were angels.

Great battle sequences and then everything coming together to frame a story of them forming the civilization of our Earth.

All has happened before and all will happen again. Loved the final scenes

Perhaps... but the final Caprica/Baltar angel scene was very deliciously awesome. Maybe instead of the montage of robots just show the first robot on MSNBC at the end and then cut to black.

                  • Yeah, the robots dancing to "Watchtower" were great. Awesome ending. I'm really looking forward to "Caprica" and "The Plan". I hope that "Caprica" evolves into a full blown series.

Seems to indicate that Starbuck was more Jesus part 1 than an angel and that the last 2 minutes was something they thought was very important to make it current and applicable to us.

                          • God damn these leechers. I've been downloading for hours and only gotten to 25% and what's worse is I downloaded it once already only to find out it was a scam where you have to buy some stupid special program to actually watch the episode. Naturally, I deleted that one but it means its Saturday morning and I still haven't seen how BSG ends.

                            • Still not sure how I feel about that finale. It was good. But not entirely satisfying. Not sure that it could have been.
