I have never been to a bachelor party or any other gathering involving strippers. I find modesty, charm, and a personal connection much more appealing than showing skin.

It's not that I'm a prude, far from it. I think people should be true to their desires. The whole "look but don't touch" seems ridiculous and counter-intuitive to me. If you want something, do it in a way that matters, and don't tie yourself down to something you don't really want.

Our culture is so thoroughly screwed up in this regard. Marriage is assumed to be something everyone does... and yet we idolize those who have the greatest sexual freedom. I feel sorry for everyone who is being lead around by the grip popular culture has on their genitals and/or tradition's grip on their ring finger.

I didn't want to do anything with the strippers, and refused lapdances

but I did enjoy looking..

(I have done stuff with a stripper once, I feel bad about it (it was an inhouse stripper, probably won't be involved in one of those again))

Aeson, I don't see how you can want to be married without also having the desire to have sex with a woman.

You have to be able to loosen up some to enjoy being married and to have fun with your wife. At least that's how I've seen the best marriages from the outside looking in.
