Nah, just battles between the NDP and the Liberals. Like in downtown Vancouver, I've voted in two national campaigns, both in some of the safest Liberal territory this side of Ontario.
Scouse Git (2)La Fayette Adam SmithSolomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

LOL just watched the all-candidates for Elgin-Middlesex...I never fully understood what the CAP stood for, and now that I know it's clear why they don't get any votes.
The Liberal dude just irritated me. He also completely and badly dodged the Q on the PMs Notwithstanding blunder. The NDP guy seemed reasonable and smart but his policies all seemed to be based on some magical bag of money. Money for everyone! Let's subsidize everyone! They had some weird geek from the old PCs/Red Tories who was incomprehensible. I was surprised how many of the non-social policies of the CHP were creative and interesting, although I'd never vote for them. The Conservative guy didn't have a lot to say that wasn't just lib bashing, although I'm not too scared by the
prospect of private delivery of services. Why not try it? As long as it remains a universal health care system wfc how it's delivered? I also liked the idea of 'canada first' foreign aid. I was disturbed at his ****ing american 'activist court' rhetoric though.
The Green Party candidate was hilarious! He was some high school kid talking like he was in a HS public speaking thing. He was so cute, I wondered if his mom knows how late he was out! kinda undercut whatever the **** he going on about, he was obviously way way out of his depth.
You know I'd vote for that Progressive Canadian party dude, if only I could get over how much his face voice hair glasses and speaking style pissed me off. He really didn't put forth anything like a coherent policy....and that's what I want in a federal government.

Ben, where are you getting your data from the last election from? I'd like to know by how much Anita Neville won Winnipeg South Centre. My Brother-in-law tells me that Lloyd Axeworthy was the previous (Liberal) MP and that she's just been riding his coat-tails. There seems to be a lot of lawn signs for the Conservative candidate but I wonder what kind of chance he has.
2004 Result:
Liberal Anita Neville 18133
Conservative Raj Joshi 10516
NDP James Allum 8270
Green Ian Scott 1508
Marijuana Andy Caisse 293
Canada Action Magnus Thompson 114
Communist Andrew Dalgliesh 81

I don't think we're reading about the same election. The Liberals are in trouble in Ontario everywhere except the GTA, and they're taking on water there too.
