Or maybe we have a group of criminal gangs rioting, cause the police are attempting to reenter the no go zones, where theyve had the ability to engage in criminal activity unmolested.

I dont think we really know the answer yet.

    • DanS- don't know about you, but around these parts, we don't use "those people" in polite company. Its alot like saying "******" or "****ing queer" or "dirty Jew bastard", all things we try not to say in polite company.
I see that I did step on your code words. Besides, when did Poly all of the sudden become polite company?

But I guess you already told us that linguisitic nuance is not your forté...
Yes, French isn't my strong suit.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

      • I can't believe this is still going on. France is like some 3rd world country. And I was considering vacationing there. I still love France. After eating some french food for the first time, I think they know good food.

I just need to remember to wear my: I'm canadian shirt when I'm over there.

Most of the rioters are French citizens since 2-3 generations. So there are no where to expel them.

                      • Who else would know, and report it? They have people on the ground, seeing the events and talking to both police, rioters and witnesses.

                        • How can you vouch for their certain knowledge by pointing to the ignorance of others? Weird argument you've got going there.

                          Edit: Ah, you cross-edited me.

Did they do a survey of the rioters?

                          • Do you have any alternative news sources for events like this?

And no, Indymedia.org is not one I would trust.

How does that make what Swedish public radio says regarding the makeup of the rioters more (or less) authoritative?
