On the level of the individual citizen, Sweden is probably the most un-free country in the Western World, has been for decades.
Because of the government's constant meddling in people's affairs and the insane amount of restrictions placed on even the most mundane aspects of everyday life. This is one country where you sometimes really get the feeling the people are there for the state and not the other way around.

In just about every country in the world you don't have to wait for DVD releases from the studios because bootleggers have DVDs out before the movie even hits the theaters.
