Besides, Yankees fans do know failure. The Yankees, contrary to popular myth, do NOT win every year. They've lost the '01 and '03 World Series and were knocked out in the first round in '02. The '01 loss was particularly gut wrenching.

But I don't ask for sympathy for that. Clearly we've got it easier than fans of many, many other teams. But you know what? SO DO YOU, YOU WHINER!

Besides, Yankees fans do know failure. The Yankees, contrary to popular myth, do NOT win every year. They've lost the '01 and '03 World Series and were knocked out in the first round in '02. The '01 loss was particularly gut wrenching.

aww boo erns. you lost in 01 and 03? the yanks have 39 pennants and 26 world championships. do you know what that means? over the last 100 years, theyve been in the world series 40% of the time. but you are right saying that youve got it easy. yankee fans do not know failure.

Boston is in it every year. If the stupid "curse" talk would just go away, maybe people could enjoy that. Hell, I'm almost starting to hope you win this freaking game so the "curse" bull**** will vanish and we can have a normal rivalry. Almost, but not quite.
