    He is quick.

As for the alcohol an article in my local paper said he read up on that expecting to get the potent potables categoy, and he did get it.

And he does seem to kick some major ass in the first round. And does fairly well in the second.

      3. For a mormon he knows an awful lot about alcohol

I think that start is awesome as the second round is worth more. He'll just get around 10k in the first, answer enough in the 2nd to get up to 25-30k than sits back and rings in only when he is certain. His opponents, who are usually still under 10k, are then forced to ring in on the 2000 and 1000 questions even if they don't know it. The best is for them to miss it, and then if he knows it to ring effectivelly widening his gap by 4000! Smart man, smart man

He's really good and all, but I find the show incredibly boring now. I like to have some competition and this has gotten too old. In the end, I think this may be bad for Jeopardy if he keeps winning for another month.

Well when was the last time we started a thread about Jeopardy?

Probably never. So people are talking. People are watching. This is good for the show.

Ratings up 28%. Sounds like it's doing horrible.

Not if he NEVER loses. I mean after a while they probably have to set like a 3 month rule.

eventually he'll lose. maybe. But eventually they should knock him off. Load up the show with subjects he knows little about. Although so far, they haven't found many. But he didn't seem to do that hot on WW2 last night. He might be weak in war related subjects.

But last night was a little closer. He didn't pull away to the unreachable stage until the last 2 questions of the show. He didn't have that large of a lead until then.

He'll be beat eventually. But the guy that beats him will have to be incredible and will be incredibly hard to beat too. This will change the whole nature of the show.

He better. I'd hate to see Jeopardy's ratings if he goes 6 months or MORE winning like he has been. It's just going to get very old.

I was surprised the news said he was only the 7th highest game show winner?

I figured who wants to be a millionare only pays our $1 million right? Are there any that pay our more? I'd like to know who has won more than this on a game show.

I'm not sure, but there was that Super Millionaire special thingy, where instead of winning $1 million, you could win $2 million. Also, off the top of my head, if you won both the car and the grand prize on Survivor, you'd be over a million. Same deal with Amazing Race - often, they give prizes away to winners of each leg on top of the grand prize, so that would add up.

They need to do a 5 day contest with Ken going 1-on-1 against Brad (the winner of the million dollar tournament of champions a couple years ago). That guy was great.
