  • That's why this is such a big deal. Someone would've leaked it to a news org if he had lost

I think the original shows were taped last February or March. Jennings' first run lasted for about 8 weeks, so those tapings would have ended no later than May. With a 6 week hiatus, the next season's tapings should have started by now. If he's home, it seems that he must have lost in the new season.

      • I doubt it. It would've leaked.

        • No, I am almost certain they haven't started taping the new season yet. He was on the Tonight Show and Jay asked him if he would come back in September for the new season, and he said "That is my understanding." That sounds like he hasn't yet taped any more episodes.

This guy is on right now, and cleaning up as usual in the first round.

                          • well that certainly is a spoiler!

I think he's in the 40's now. So expect a few more weeks of him.

I was wondering about that. Because they do tape jeapardy several weeks in advance. I figured if he loses, we'd hear about it before it airs.

And I was wondering if someone could beat this guy. I was watching last night (I watch every night unless I have class), and he cleaned up like usual. It's very boring with no competition. The guy is a machine. He knows more than MTG . I can't see how anyone could beat him.
