It's common knowledge now. My wife knew it, and she gets all her news from TV.
It'll be interesting to see what this does to Jeopardy's ratings. The shows where he's going to win, there might not be six viewers other than Ken's family and church. The one where he loses. . . it'll be like the last episode of MASH or Cheers. People all over the country will plan parties around it. Unless Jeopardy gets smart and lets word "slip out" that they plan to skip over some of his wins, and air the loss at an unknown date."THE" plus "IRS" makes "THEIRS". Coincidence? I think not.

have you guys seen this guy though? I can't imagine the freak who is able to beat him. How long will he go without losing? He probably got lucky on the categories. Ken seems a little weak on war related categories. He does good on sports categories though- I didn't expect that from a mormon.

CBC News: The answer is: Jeopardy! champion Ken Jennings
NEW YORK - Jeopardy! champion Ken Jennings is now the winningest TV games show contestant of all time.
Jennings won more than $45,000 US on the episode of the quiz show that aired Wednesday, bringing his total take to $2,197,000.
The previous record was $2,180,000 US won in 2001 by Michigan engineer Kevin Olmstead on A-B-C's Who Wants to be a Millionaire.
Jennings started his winning Jeopardy! streak on an episode that aired in June. So far, the 30-year-old software engineer from Salt Lake City has made 66 appearances on the show.
Jennings broke the record for longest winning streak on any television game show Sept. 15.
Spoiler:
That same month, TV Week magazine reported that Jennings lost after his 75th straight appearance, which has already been taped in advance.
That has not been confirmed.

yeah I was going to post this last night. I watched last night's episode.
In the beginning you're not sure if he's going to pull away. but by double jeapardy he always pulls away. And because he answeres so many questsion he always gets the daily doubles that puts him out of reach nearly every game.
I [i]have to see the episode where he is defeated. I want to see who the freak is that can beat this guy. Ken Jennings looks undefeatable if you ask me. I'll tape it if I have to. Any way to find out the date the episode airs?

I still don't know when this guy loses.
Now they have the college tournament. there sure seems to be a lot of those.
I found it funny the guy from carnegie mellon college who had a huge lead bet 1337 for his wager on final jeapardy. If I'm not mistaken, that's some kind of that weird type of geek speak isn't it? I even looked it up.
