I'd like to see much greater penalties (considering we have none ) for razing cities.

Those penalties should mostly be in effect only in the later part of the game though.

forgot about that one.

But I suppose this mainly applies to late game. As razing in ancient times was not that big a deal. . Except to the civilization who just got their ass razed. But representation or universal suffrage nations razing cities?

I want to see a Quick Start selector in the main menu that will begin a new game using all of the parameters that the player has chosen previously. It gets kind of tiresome clicking through all those screens over and over again just to use the same settings I always use.

I agree. In fact, I think there should be many more start-up options. Just not lame ones.

It has to apply through time, razing cities was always a big deal. That's why people wrote it down when it happened after all.

If you raze a lot of cities, your reputation should go through the floor. At least until your next major revolution.

You know, with the specualtion about the possibility of two new expansions after warlords, I'm left to wonder if the content would really be worth it after one more. Granted, Warlords didn't have that much in it, I don't know if content in expansion 3 would be worth it.

A brief example:
Civ4 Exp3: Play the Worst

New Civs:
Polynesia
Austria
Ireland
Iroquois
Sioux
Moche

New Leaders:
DeGaulle (France)
Thatcher (England)
Ivan V (Russia)

New Units:
"Ancient" Cavalry

New Wonders:
Library of Congress
McDonald's
Silicon Valley

New Tile Improvements
Electronics Store

You get the idea. Yes, I'm being sarcastic. My point is that Civ can reach terminal mass, as it started to in C3C, where the additions no longer seem to make a difference.

Don't think I'm saying I don't want more expansions, because I do. I guess my point is simply that any expansions had better be worth it. Their contributions to civ should be needed. Adding junk just for the sake of adding it is not good civ. New expansions should enrich.

Alexander01 I agree that lots of the stuff in expansion packs seems pointless, or adds nothing to the core game (though super praetorians would be nice ).

I would love to see, as stated before, and I know I'm the only one in the whole world who wants this, a CIV MEGA expansion.

Super long game, 50 hours average, massive complicated tech trees, self determined trade routes, lots of units that do not have a military funtction, micro management out the wazoo!

That would be

If the expansion pack only offers scenarios , more civs , more leaders for existing civs or any other silly window dressing, then I for one will not not be purchasing it.

Well I can reveal that it is rather likely it wont offer much more. But we'll all buy it, and they know it.

As stated above, if has something good in it, then yes I probably will buy it.

If it seems pointless window dressing, the I will wait.

I wanted Warlords as it was, obviously, war focused.
