To be honest, I don't remember, I'm just using it since day 1. I haven't changed too many settings, maybe one or two; I'll check.

or, better yet, expose all basic file management functionality. it's there. it's just a reskinned windows explorer screen. it's just all turned off for no good reason.
And be able to change the default save folder.

I've just checked. I went to my Options Menu and restored the default settings. I played then a few turns and every time the "Press ENTER to end turn" message appeared I was able to end my turn with Space.

Awesome... I could have sworn it didn't work for me the first time I tried it.... and I just... never tried again? Ah well.

            Thanks Tiberius.

[61] When ctrl-i minimized please keep the end of turn button

[62] Please make an option to be able to see minimap when in ctrl-i mode. Alternatively, make a new mini-mode which is exactly as ctrl-i, but plus minimap

[63] - If you enable Terrain Grid, let it remain enabled after you reload the game. (Remember Terrain Grid setting).

[15] Being able to select a city from the City Screen (F1)
Not sure if this was mentioned already (5 pages is a lot to read!), but you can select a single city from that screen, you just can't go to the city view. If you click a single city, it will be selected in the interface below and you can change the production there.

I assume that by "select" he meant "go to the city screen". This one of the top requests for me as well (and I think for many others).

[64] Make units on go-to or automation move last, so if I discover something between turns, such as the movement of enemy troops or that I suddenly need a worker elsewhere, I don't utterly lose 2 turns of movement and in some cases the unit altogether.

[65] When changing between units that involves recentering the camera, pause a moment before accepting movement commands...at least if the preceding unit can potentially move more than once. I hate moving a worker twice through an oasis, only to find that it eats up two movement and I just moved a different unit in that direction by mistake.

[66] Make the city construction window easier to use. Right now it's a little 1/15th of the screen that is hard to use even for being 1/15th of the screen.

[66b] When mousing over a particular item, notably on the build window or the tech tree, make the pop-up help appear instantly and persist until the mouse is moved.

[67] Display the properties of a target unit when moused over, including enemy units. (Only needs apply to the stack "leader".) Yes, we'll learn them eventually, but that doesn't mean I know the difference between Crossbowmen and Cho-ko-nu.

This is already the case for me; unit properties appear in the lower left, for the whole stack you're mousing over, and includes promotions, strength, nationality, pretty much everything.

[34] yes! Thank you! I hate this and it needs to be fixed. I have bad eyes and I can't focus and read that small text before it falls through and I end up reading about some random tile in the middle of nowhere.

                            following [67]:

[68] allow the detailed stack list (when holding the mouse over the flag) to be fixable and scrollable (like the SHIFT-click thingy). also clickable... if i have 10 cats of which 5 are specialised on cityattack/withdrawal/collateral damage and 5 are bombard specialists hovering over the small icons is a bit tedious...

Just a small one Yin. I noticed that when you save a game and overwrite, it prompts you, however there is a typo which says 'This file aready exists'. Shouldn't be a biggie to resolve...

Many of these are great suggestions.

Personally I'd like to have clickable events which would jump the display to the event's location. Ex: if my religion spreads to a foreign city, I'd like to be able to click the message and jump to that city.

I know, I wasn't supposed to make any additional suggestions. But I'm a rebel.
