Snoopy was the first to waken. He opened one eye cautiously and then the other. His iris reflected a gentle rainbow. He reckoned it originated from the due north cardinal point. It was a beautiful day. He was delighted to be alive.
After dressing he headed down to the restaurant for breakfast and the chance of a game of chess with Spaced. I hope you don’t think you can win with ‘The Bishop’s Opening’ said Spaced setting up the chessboard. ‘We’ll see’ said Snoopy opening with king pawn to E4.
Sparrowhawk produced the new draft map of the Zoo and Will9 and Duke O’York joined him to study it. ‘Oh look’ said Will9, ‘ they are naming streets after pop artists: there’s Brian Wilson street.’ Duke spotted George Harrison street. ‘And there’s James Taylor street’ added Jonny. ‘ No Bono boulevard yet?’ asked Mrs Tuberski. ‘No’ answered Sparrowhawk, ‘ Nor have they named the different zones yet’. Kuciwalker asked if there was a second Emergency Room. ‘Just the one’ replied Sparrow.
‘I would like to name my zone, Arianrhod ‘ said Adrian Hon with a smile and wink, because well guess.
‘In that case, I might call my zone Bast’ said Tuberski. ‘Now I think that name would get renamed very quickly, like to the Bast herd zone’ said LordShiva; jokingly. ‘Me, I am tempted to choose the name Heqet for the Amphibian and Reptile zone’ but it’s of a different order, so maybe not.
They turned to ask Ben Kenobi for his thoughts. I think Ben went down to the Aquarium for a swim, ahem, with the dolphins’ I said ‘But let’s go there to see how he’s getting on’. So we set out.
‘Isn’t he a bit long in the tooth to be swimming with dolphins’ asked someone. Well Ben was a bit long in the tooth alright. Only it was on the tooth of a bull walrus. We don’t know for how long. Clearly a good part of Ben Kenobi was missing, presumed eaten. The photograph pinned to the tree, showed Ben being caught by the walrus and the penguins looking like they were clapping.
On closer examination it would seem that Ben tried to fend of the Walrus by putting Shiner beer cans on the tusks. On the sand I caught a glimpse of those strange animal like footprints – almost child size, before the group trampled all over them. But I was able to retrieve the black thread for evidence.
It was another deliberate killing. Go do what you have to do.
I placed Ben Kenobi’s remains in a sarcophagus and buried it beneath the foundation stone in the reception hall. The domed ceiling of which featured a reproduction of the Great Flood by Michelangelo from the Sistine chapel. cheap beer yeah along the lines of keystone and coorslight. Do u think i would pay that much money for shiner bock? And then shclitz thats even worse, cause im not even old enouh to know that brand. Plusseeeee Not to mention it(shiner) is a nasty looking dark beer. I have been on call for the last 4 days and at work for 8 to 12 hours each day, which is why i havent posted. Havent had the time to read the new story. Im gonna go with spaced cowboy since he cant win the chess game he plays with snoopy.
