Bah, bringing up the painful Savaquote again ... The man has no taste.
I have taste, and it says that Axes != Blunt Weapons, and that theives should never be able to wield both daggers and claymores with the same amount of skill.
EDIT: fixed some typos.
I drink to one other, and may that other be he, to drink to another, and may that other be me!
I'm going to upgrade my computer when the game is released. Then I can play dis ****, but also Stalker which I hope to be out by then

Axes are essentially blunt weapons. Battle axes are used in roughly the same way as a mace... essentially by hitting something hard. The sharpness is not particularly more useful than the sharpness of a flail.
The claymore/dagger issue is more of a simplification, which I have no trouble with. Too complex of a game is bad, and realism isn't something to be strived for in an RPG, not in my book anyway.
<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.
I like your SNOOPY POSTER! - While you Wait quote.
You certainly don't have a girlie PC (not like others here, yes Dr. Spike I'm looking at you, you girlie man ), but its still weaker than a 360 AFAIK. Console versus PC comparisons are always dodgy, but the 360 has a triple core 3,2 Ghz CPU and its GPU is superior. You have more RAM, but the 360 doesn't have to deal with all the bloat that comes with Windows.
Oblivion developer speaks about PC vs 360 version
Xbox.com: Touching on something you mentioned before, just how much more glorious an adventure can owners expect from the title than their PC-loving counterparts?
Howard: Again, it depends on their setup. If they have the absolute latest PC with a video card that is fully shader model 3.0 compatible and a giant HD monitor, they're about the same. The question is, can they get all of that for $399? And does it let them play Geometry Wars? That game rules.
I'd like to know where I can get a 360 + an HD TV for $399

You really are clueless about how to use a Axe and a Warhammer/Mace?
Let me educate you.
Axes have a sharp bladed edge, and as a result, tend to get stuck in flesh. This requires the user to pull with strength the axe out of the body. Double Edge axes solves this problem by allowing the user to pull the axe out of the dead body and right into the next victim.
Hammers and Mace don't have this problem. Brut force to one's skull or the force to severaly damage internal organs is all that is needed.
As for the dagger/swords, there is little perpose for the dagger since dai-katana's would be better. Oh wait, I forgot, Todd "The Christ" Howard said that the cool factor of the dagger is all you need.
