  • depends on how boring your life is. . A few months ago my life was very boring. Most computer games were more interesting than that. That's why I played. But lately, things have improved. Though I still play computer games, I just don't have as much time to play them as I used to.

I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Yeah, it's also a fair point. Though as far as this goes, I didn't feel it was too much of a problem thanks to plugins. I have a couple of plugins that make it possible for my level 40 character to get his ass kicked in the wilderness.

        • I went back to Morrowind last night to actually finish off Dagoth Ur. I had been around the Red Mountain and gotten Keening, Sunder (or whatever) and decide to go off exploring rather than actually finish. So I went to do it last night (why not, right?). Man, it was tough getting to that heart before the 2nd incarnation (so to speak) could get me. I eventually cast a levitate spell (from an amulet) and then cast invisibility, so I could sneak down there and get rid of the heart without trouble.

Though I have to say, with pixel shaders, the water looks SUPER cool

Well, yes, in the sense that I'm only playing it because I'm bored. If I had something interesting, surprising, or new (perhaps "diverse" was the wrong word) going on in my life, I wouldn't be playing a computer game to begin with.

But also, I'd say the world of "Fallout" was more diverse than my real life -- and that's a good thing, too.
