Different from Morrowind.
I am beside myself with full system orgasms over the graphics. OMG OMG OMG. I've heard reviews that say that gameplay is beter but familiar, and the story is better.
It comes on PS3, XBOX2, and PC!
Ahhhh I can't wait!

Many RPGs are smurfs, but this one isn't. All three of the TES ("the elder scrolls" series) games so far have been incredible and groundbreaking ... and Oblivion may be the most groundbreaking yet, with the new AI systems ...
TES keeps the 'role playing' in the RPG. Morrowind was the most open-ended RPG of all time - and Oblivion seems to be even more so, in addition to being more realistic (people acting realistically in terms of daily schedules and more open-ended dialogue).
Arena, the first TES game, was for its time the most realistic RPG ever ... and iirc was the first joint RPG that was written in the style of an FPS (heck, was FPS even a genre at the time?). It took ideas and strategies that people like Jon Van Caneghem (Might and Magic) pioneered, and made them into an incredibly exciting, incredibly open-ended RPG. It's a shame that more RPGs haven't been made in this fashion, although Bioware is heading in that direction in a lot of ways (similar style of game, although not nearly as large of a world or as many travel options at one time) ... but it's just too expensive to make a game like this ...<Reverend> IRC is just multiplayer notepad.
I like your SNOOPY POSTER! - While you Wait quote.
