    • Hey, guys, I've been following this game since the beginning and now got jealous enough that I couldn't keep myself from playing SC, too.

      I took a small lot between Maquiladora, Lemmy and Jonny, and played it till 2030. If you guys are interested in having the lot, it can be found here:



      I figure filling out the region further never hurts eh. So I hope you don't mind me jumping in. You all already have a lot of players though so don't wait in my updates, just keep playing as normal.

      Here's some screenies. First is the region overview to show you precisely which lot I got:

      • Then, here's the transport network. I mostly reused existing connections, but I did make new boulevard and rail connections to Lemmy, looking to extend his existing networks. The rail is not getting used at all, though the road is getting a nice workout.

        • And here's the city itself. I looked at the surrounding areas and found them far too rich. So I jacked the taxes on high-wealth residents and high-tech industries up to 15% to deter them from coming in, and concentrated on affordable housing and dirty industries. Of course, the level of services in the city is set up accordingly. It still generates a healthy profit, however, as you can tell by my current balance. No cheats or U-Drive-Its have been used at all.

              Yeah... It wasn't on the last page of the thread, and I was too lazy to dig around to find it, and figured it was sufficiently far from me that it wouldn't affect my zone demands much.

                  That is a lot of cash, is that even achievable within 30 years without cheats or u-drive-it missions?

                    As for Blountberg...

                    The city has undergone a residential boom while the commercial boom continues. Developers went on a hi-rise binge in downtown, an event believe to have been caused by the improved subway structure and the mysterious appearance of another city to our west. Whatever the cause, Blountberg's population has increased by nearly 30,000 people.

                    Connections made: Rail, subway, and additional road connection made to Fairfield. Hooked into the last 2 of Smiley's road connections to me, and hooked into Smiley's subway connection.

                      • Three previously unknown islands have been discovered off the coast. Seeing an opportunity when it arises, General Ludd snuck into the Mergdale Treasury and made off with all the city funds in the middle of the night, headed for the new islands.


                        Trinity Islands '30 (I let the ticker go untill 25 without doing anything)







                        During the first five years, Ludd quickly established a sea and ferry port. The city has grown well, and there is already a fully staffed hostpital. There has been some problems with fires in the industrial district - four fires where started. Three of them where only minor, but the the last one nearly burned down the gas plant.

                          I reconciled edges so all the new connections would show up...overall it costed me about 100k, but i could afford it...my income has never been so high, not even in Easy games.

                          The avenue connection from Blountberg has been connected to my main avenue system.
                          I also extended the elevated rail into a new subway system under and around Sacaferocious Shops. In the next 5 years it will be extended further underneath Crimigrational and also connected to my other neighbours if they want.
                          <Kassiopeia> you don't keep the virgins in your lair at a sodomising distance from your beasts or male prisoners. If you devirginised them yourself, though, that's another story. If they devirginised each other, then, I hope you had that webcam running.

                            I especially like how he built the coal plant on the top of the hill, so that everyone was guaranteed to be living in dense smog.



                            But Vovan should of built a city on one of the coastal provinces, so that I could have a direct neighbour to my island... or he could of taken over Mergdale.

                              Yep, popped it into my region now too.

                              Just waiting on Atragon for Y City. Will we get a Mergdale save anymore?

                                I don't know, it's pretty much at the state I wanted it to be and the only thing left to do was to build a sub-way system.


                                I thought about updating it but once again my deals where cut and no neighbours had any spare power, so I didn't bother. I would of ended up spening all my money on windmills and fastforwarding another five years.
