Forgiveness requires repentence. Repentence means turning away from the sins you committed. You can't repent by doing other things to cover up your sins. Doesn't work that way.

Thank you Albert. This is why you aren't going to change my mind on this. I've owned dogs since I was 5, and they were a big deal to me growing up. I had two beautiful black labs, that would have done anything for me when nobody else in the world cared.

The second one passed coming up on 4 years now, I remember seeing him just laying there. I miss him. He was a good dog.

Dogs are wolves, Ben. They're genetically identical. 20,000 years of domestication wasn't enough to change their base instincts.

For example, this past weekend in Washington it was reported that packs of dogs, including household pets, would slaughter livestock at night. Over 100 animals were killed and there's fear that the dogs will target human children next.

You can take the wolf out of the forest but you can't take the forest out of the wolf. It's nothing but mental conditioning and redirection of instinct that prevented your precious pet dogs wolves from biting out your throat.

Yeah, like where I'm from doesn't engage in hunting. I have no problems with game hunting and fishing. Hunting for food is one thing. Going out there and shooting animals and leaving them to rot and die, yeah, I do have a problem with that. If you're going to hunt, eat what you kill.

Albert, nothing is guaranteed. If I miss, when the geese fly over, I don't get anything to eat. If the Geese show up at the wrong field, same there. If the Geese don't show up at all, same thing. I've had all of that happen.

The only way you can hunt geese is to wait for them to fly low enough so that you can shoot them.

If we decide to treat animals as instruments to satisfy human needs, whether for food or for entertainment... there's a difference between the cow raised from birth to be eventual beef or the dog raised from birth to be a fighter in the pit and the free-roaming deer that exists for itself.
