I just don't get why you believe that Kolb is in danger of losing his job. Sure if he had a bad game, but he hasn't. Even if Kolb performs poorly, they aren't going to give Vick the job.

Vick did the absolute bare minimum that would be acceptable, edged out Detroit and lost a game. If Philly is starting a guy that struggles to beat teams like Detroit then they are going to finish in the cellar.

Kolb is the starter... there's no you heard it hear first, Ben... it was the word last week at the end of the Green Bay game when Vick said it... Andy Reid said it... it's been no secret that when Kolb is healthy, he's back in there. No one has said anything otherwise. It's all, we're glad we have a guy like Michael who can come off the bench and do what he does and put us in a position to win games but Kolb is our starting QB.

The only thing is, knowing Eagles fans... let Kolb come back and struggle a bit and the boos will rain down along with chants of We Want Vick. But the fans clearly don't run the Eagles organization, which often goes counter to what the public and Philly news media wants.

All I saw him say was that Kolb is on a shorter leash than before... and that's very true and hardly going out on a limb. He will also have to deal with a fanbase that is Vick-happy.

What is this struggling to beat Detroit thing about? The Bears struggled to beat Detroit. Other teams will barely edge out Detroit which is looking like a team that could finish 7-9 if only they could have some close games go their way. And, as has been obvious, it wasn't on Vick who played better than he ever really played as a Falcon... it was on the defense that had absolutely no answer for Jahvid Best.
