The greatest danger to Nato right now is a Le Pen victory in France. One wonders what the French electorate is thinking.

Betting markets estimate they are thinking Macron will win, with an 80% likelihood. Which is lower than March (93% implied), but more than January (70% implied). Trending currently towards Le Pen.

I don't read much into polls when I have betting data which is far more reliable.

Considering that the americans elected trump as president and may be reelecting him in a couple of years, then the Le Pen isn't that unreasonable (I don't like Le Pen and wouldn't vote for her, but I might consider her way more sane than thrumph).

Maybe Serb can explain the logic in the following ;

A railway station was hit by rockets and the russian news proudly said that the russian army has destroyed important ukrainian army depots.
When the reality was that it was only used by civilians, then they said that they didn't have the rockets used anymore and now it was the Ukrainians that did it to keep civilians as human shields against the russian "liberators".

the world and most importanly putin thinks that with trump the baltics will not be defended,

also EU cannot defend the baltics.


the issue is that putin knows that if he attacks the baltics, he will conmquer them (i guess, he couldnt with ukraine) but then the whole nato decaden west will be on his case

I don't know if there is one sane person on planet earth that still thinks that putin is going to stop in ukraine and respect NATO countries.


nato has already being attacked.

putin will have absolutely no qualms in attacking the baltics or poland in the very near future and put nato to the test. and he will do that possibly while encpouraging turkey to attack greece on the same time

I think at this point it's obvious that Ukraine invaded itself to make Russia look bad. They even faked a battle around Kiyv for several months (edit: weeks not months) only to then fake-retreat so they could claim they defeated the Russian advance
