I was a junkie for, at least, morning One Minute Speeches in the mid-90s. Congress was infinitely less of a clown collage/joke back in the Newt days -and who ever thought THAT sentence would even be written- and especially after, but I can see that, even 30 years ago before the T-party.

Lithuanian film maker Mantas Kvedaravičiu was killed by the Russians.
He was known for his movie "Mariupolis" in 2016 where he documented the fight of the ukrainian soldiers against the insurgents in Donezk and Luhansk.
Now he was in Mariupol again in order to document the fight of the Ukrainians against the Russian invaders.
Contrary to first informations, that he died when his car was hit by a russian missile, it now seems to turn out that Mantas Kvedaravičiu was arrested by Russian soldiers and shortly thereafter executed.

Ok, I'll bite. At least hundreds of Russian tanks have been verifiably destroyed in Ukraine. The joke chose a picture of a burning APC instead. Would have been worth a chuckle with a burning tank. Did I say something ridiculous somewhere? I am always pleased to learn.

I got ninja'd responding to Wezil posting a meme, not to do with the comment it made. HowEVER - I agree that that's an APC in the tank joke. I actually had absently noticed that before you clarified, though I didn't make the connection. I was poking fun at Weez' RL job, not commenting on you.

(Protip: most judges would find it contempt of court-level funny if he did that.)
