Yes there will almsot certaintly be a third shot for the elderly and those with special diseases here (that render them vulnerable to the covid and somehow impede the growth of antibodioes from the vaccine or something).
I think this will be expanded to the general population... maybe.
Also pfizer (probably other companies too is already developing the vaccince that will cover delta varation so... it all fits together.

I don't think the virus will go away either. But gradually it will be safer and safer to "live".

Also I think it's wrong to call it a respiratory disease seeing as the after effects from having suffered covid very wildly.

And there are people that got covid, got vaccinates twice, then re-got covid.... I guess covid just loves them or something

Their Virus load also lessens faster ... during the first 5 days the virus load (according PCR tests) goes down the same for vaccinated and unvaccinated people.
After the 5th day, the virus load in uvaccinated people stars to decrease much more than that for unvaccinated people.

So, it is very likely that vaccinated people are infectious (= a danger to those around them) for a shorter timeframe than people without vaccination

It really concerns me that Canada rushed to approve AstraZeneca and yet USA still has not done so. The last time that I remember this happening was with a drug called Thalidimide. There is something wrong with this scenario.

Canada had difficulty getting Covid vaccines. Thee US had plenty. There is no need to rush approval for something that you don't need.

as proteus said, vaccines both lessen the percentage of you cathicng the virus in the first place as well as lessening the effects of the disease if you indeed catch it.

I divide the nay sayers in 3 categories:

1. those that are just scared. Most of those if exposed to logic will probably listen and you can't say no to logic unless you're crazy. THose I think can listen and will listen and can be convinced in an amicable rational tone

2, The alex joneses. These people believe the atlantis was a jewish scheme and bill gates want to control their brilliant minds and superior DNA. You can't reason with these people, SOme will die soe will - not immedieatly - cause the deaths of others and will also act as mutation labatories. Nothing can be done to those.

3. The sneaky, sleazy, hypocrite ones. Those do realize that there is a clear danger with covid but want to sit on the fence and let the general population get vaccinated, suffer all if any side effect, and then they, without being vaccinated, will benefit from heard immunity. I propose that those be pricked in the neck with the vaccine on their way to the bus
