Favorability is not the same as trustworthiness.
She's just lucky that the Dumpster is such a douche. (which I believe is a bigger component of her improving favorability)

You both could and should be looking at polls over time. If indeed her favouribility has risen 20 points in 3 weeks (I can't be bothered to check, so I'll take your word for it) then that suggests either she did something absolutely amazing in those 3 weeks (she didn't) or the numbers are very soft and in this case likely to be a result of her opponents shortcomings rather than anything directly to do with her.
