I did not. Reading comprehension is needed. I wouldn't want a cake from you because food poisoning isn't fun.

If you don't want me to bake you a cake than this must be done kind of childish passive-aggressive bull**** on your part.

You ought not to throw stones from a glasshouse. Nobody likes hypocrisy.

            • They are offering a public service and have done so to other couples.
Sure. They are offering a service, baking a cake for a wedding. They offered to provide you a cake, that they baked for the wedding. The cake was declined. That's the end of the transaction.

Your argument is the exact copy of the argument employed by George Wallace. Why should private businesses be forced to serve blacks? - This was the argument in the early 1960s. You're simply copying the same argument and changing the word around. It has everything to do with cakes. They didn't do anything of the sort. They denied a service and violated the law.
If it had everything to do with cakes, why didn't they accept the cake? Why didn't they go to another store? Why that store, Gian?

I thought the story was before that homosexual people were supposed to be tolerant, Giancarlo? You've demonstrated that is obviously not the case. Oh that's funny. The religious right are the most hypocritical and intolerant out there. Why should I be tolerant of hatred and intolerance anyways?
You aren't being tolerant. That's the point. Why should people return the favor when it's blindingly clear that you don't actually value tolerance?

Are you arguing that a black baker must supply a KKKake? If not, why not? People have the freedom to associate with whomever they choose. If I don't want to write an article that supports homosexual marriage... I don't have to write an article that supports homosexual marriage. That's what freedom should be. You just responded with a red herring argument in an attempt to justify your own bigotry.
              Answer the question, Gian.

              • Shaming is fine if what's been done is worth shaming.
Indeed. Words of the wise. Wiser heads would suggest if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.

I didn't take your blood money.
In the end, you missed out on a lovely golf outing. My conscience is clear.

Why do you keep saying that I owed you something because of it? Looks like a duck, sounds like a duck.
I'm not owed anything. It was a gift. That you insist on branding a gift as 'bribery' speaks volumes. You complain about this going public, and then spend the time in public going out and smearing everything? Well, that wasn't terribly well done.

You're a sick monster. I really don't care about your "CIRCUMSTANCES" of why you refused to support your own brother. When you say you would do the same to your own daughter, the only common factor I can see is the gay part. I'm sure if you thought god was telling you to kill them to prove your faith, that you would do that also. Sick sick sick sick sick.
And you complain about shaming? LOL.

                • People who compare us to the KKK don't have an argument. We LGBT people aren't taking rights away from anyone. The Christian right are perfectly fine taking away our rights though.
That you cannot answer my question, speaks volumes. If, as you state, business owners are providing a public service that must supply that service to everyone, than the black baker must supply a KKKake.

If you argue that they do not have to supply a KKKake, then neither does the Christian baker have to supply you.

Ben, your answers are quite vile. I wouldn't want you at my wedding either.
It's a free country. Or at least it was. You have the freedom not to invite me, and I have the freedom to decline.

If, as I'm sure you want to argue, I am not free to decline without being shamed, then you are attacking my freedom. Just as rah is doing here. That I am a monster for declining to attend a wedding?

What would you think if you were shamed for refusing to attend a Catholic wedding, Gian?

Not only do you know nothing about the Constitution, you don't understand history. You don't understand how you're repeating history with your responses.
I know quite a bit about the constitution. The constitution is pretty clear, that a business has a right to decline business that it does not want.

You don't have an argument. They were providing a public service
They provided a cake. That cake was declined.

Private businesses are regulated and do have to follow rules.
And the constitution is clear that they have First Amendment rights that include freedom of conscience. Freedoms, that, naturally, protect the black baker and permit him to refuse work contrary to his conscience.

Really, that's open and shut, Giancarlo. Either the first protects everyone or it protects no one.

I roll my eyes when someone on the religious right complains we LGBT people aren't being "tolerant".
You've lost considerable sympathy on the part of folks who might otherwise be inclined to support you. Most folks I know are shocked when I tell them about the 125k dollar fine. They believe it is wrong to try to destroy the life and livelihood of someone over a 20 dollar cake.

Cry me a river... you guys have been throwing intolerance and hatred towards us for decades and you have actively pursued anti-LGBT laws.
When was the last time a homosexual man was fined 125k for practicing homosexuality?

I can get fired in at least two dozen states simply for being gay.
You can be fired in two dozen states for whatever reason the employer wants. It's called Right to Work, Gian.

The religious right cries they are being discriminated against, yet are the ones pushing anti-gay laws and/or destroying laws on the book supposed to protect a targeted minority.
Right to work is not anti-homosexual. That you fear a law that bars discrimination, in permitting the employer to fire and hire on the basis of need, rather than union speaks volumes.

It tells me that you want to be protected from the workforce and the employer. That you want special rights and not equal rights.

I, too, am a minority. Everyone here knows that. I am actually protected under the 14th and with good reason, because I have been through the gauntlet.

I haven't seen any other minority catered to as much as yours. I am happy with Right to Work, because it means that people like me can outwork people like you and take yer jobs

Except by doing so the baker violated the law. Learn that please. Read up on the law.

If it had everything to do with cakes, why didn't they accept the cake? Why didn't they go to another store? Why that store, Gian?
Because it has to do with the law and providing equal treatment.

Tolerant to what? Your opinion? Get a grip. I value tolerance more than you and accept people as they are. You espouse downright venom and hatred towards LGBT people.

                    Answer the question, Gian.
Why should I answer that BS question? A KKK member is holding an opinion. It has nothing to do with same sex couples.

                    Get over your nasty bigotry.

                      Bull****!

They aren't the same. And the Christian baker is required by law to serve same sex couples. Homosexuality is innate and not a choice. A KKK member adopted a hateful opinion.

Then please explain why you keep bringing it up and say things like "you should have sent me a pm"

AND ONE MORE TIME< I"M PROUD that I didn't accept it. SO YOU"RE NOT SHAMING ME.

I am trying to shame you because you're a monster who won't support a brother and more importantly wouldn't support a daughter not even born for the simple offense that she was gay. And you don't even realize how big of a monster that makes you. You don't deserve to procreate and you'll probably have to lie to a women to get her to marry her. Don't forget to tell the future mrs BK that if she has gay children, that you will treat them worse than a dog.

And I've played thousands of round of golf and happy that I REFUSED TO TAKE YOUR BRIBE. HAPPY?
A gift is supposed to be without strings, yet you prove every time you post that strings were attached.
More like a bribe in my book.

How many other promises are you going to break today?
                        You have no honor.
You are an unfit brother, and will make a very unfit father. Because you will put God before them. Monster.

And the funniest thing is that I never once used the word bribe until you broke your promise and made it public. SO F*** OFF
