I've always been a Hobbesian. Most here are followers of Rousseau. I believe that people have a natural inclination towards evil and that they will act on their base desires without restraints.

I include myself among that number, btw. People think, "Oh, Kenobi believes he's always right", I'm like, meh. It's not me, most of the time I just stumble on a few things here and there...

I don't believe I've ever had a useful original thought. I have met some folks though who have!

I think one of the key manifestations of your mental illness is the manner in which you completely misunderstand/misrepresent what others say, like just now. It's not normal behaviour by any metric. It is very sad to see you struggle like this - not understanding the world around you...

I'm not sure how what I said qualifies as racism. I've explicitly stated that gang culture has a negative effect on black people, and if it were black "culture", it would destroy itself. Logically it makes no sense to assert that gang culture is black culture because it destroys black people specifically and black culture in general.

That's my argument here.

As for mental illness. I'm curious *why* you think so, not simply asserting, "you must be mentally ill". People can be correct and mentally ill, and incorrect and not mentally ill. It has no bearing on the correctness or incorrectness of my statements unless you're working off the presupposition that, "only the mentally ill believe X".
