All words are made up anyways. There nothing wrong with bringing a little accuracy to the English language.
To us, it is the BEAST.

Why do you think that says that Christians have to believe in the Trinity?

People like you should not be allowed to use the English language. You aren't worthy of it.

          • Jesus is equal with the father (John 5:18)
The lord is the spirit (2 Corinthians 3:17 ) Lying to the Holy Spirit is lying to God (Acts 5:3-4)
And of course there's only one god in Christianity.

You don't understand what I'm asking you. None of that says that if you don't believe in the Trinity then you aren't a Christian.

              • You could be a Christian and threaten to beat people up in front of churches, but it's still accurate to say Christians have to not be violent aggressors.

Threatening to beat people up in front of churches is clearly different. You aren't even trying.

That's precisely why we have dictionaries.

                      • None of that has to do with applicability of the term Christian as defined by dictionaries.
Did Jesus Christ write a dictionary? Is Webster a prophet?

You're simply using the word incorrectly to try to persecute followers of Christ.
Not at all. I'm using a definition used by Christians to define the beliefs that constitute a Christian.

Well I was referring to having a different interpretation of the Spirit. If you believe that Christ is God, or has the power and willingness to save and you devote yourself to his teachings then why wouldn't you be a Christian?

Again not applicable. My statement was simply that Mormons are by dictionary definition Christian. All your flailing and intellectual dishonesty are appreciated. It's especially amusing given the topic and how hypocritical you are about it.

I'm glad you can admit you aren't using the dictionary definition to refute my claim that Mormons are Christian by the dictionary definition.

This is false, as I've shown. Both Brigham Young and Joseph Smith taught it.
There is no record that Joseph Smith taught it. Brigham Young claimed Joseph Smith talked about the idea after Joseph Smith was dead, and some things Joseph Smith did say were interpreted by some as being supportive of the idea. Your claim there is at best heresay. There was never consensus among LDS Church leadership about the issue even while Brigham Young was leading it, and after Brigham Young died, the idea was discarded by the LDS Church. Even before he died Brigham Young said it wasn't an important thing in regards to personal salvation. At no time was it official LDS Church doctrine.

Modern LDS Church doctrine is that of those who argued against Adam-God, and the statement used Mormons in the present tense. Not to mention Adam-God even if it was official doctrine is not mutually exclusive with being Christian according to the definition used. So you're just wrong in every conceivable way.

You BK, are perhaps the single worst Christian I've ever personally met. (I'm sure there must be at least a few worse Christians out there, I've just been lucky not to meet any of them. Not even on the internet.) Using previously quoted definitions 4, 5, 6, and 8.
