  • Say what you want about capitalism, at least it actually exists and isn't a fantasy. There's no such thing as a commune consisting of millions of people.

    • It's tainted and isn't pure capitalism which up to some time in the past it made it bearable.

However, now globalization has put the jenie out of the bottle and everyone is looking for ways not to degrade to america and unhintered capitalism.

      It's a very positive thing.

              • I see, all the national level Communists have been authoritarian, but Communism doesn't have to be authoritarian because people will just naturally accept Communism even though people have never shown a willingness to accept Communism.

And if planet Earth is a Commune, then Nazis were Communists

Yes a lot of things exist. Like hunger, poverty, human trafficking. Just because something exists doesn't mean its right.

I am not anticapitalist. I just believe in strong regulation and a wide safety net, so people aren't treated like **** which happens often under capitalism.

Just for your information clown, everything you've posted is nothing more, but your Western delusion. Keep dreaming about us slowly dying. But in a schoking reality for a morons like you - we are growing, ****ing idiot!

"According to an official estimate for 2016, the population of Russia is of 146,600,000 inhabitants (April 1, 2016 estimate).[2][5][6][a]
                    As of 2014, Russian
TFR of 1.750 children per woman[7] was the highest in Eastern, Southern and Central Europe."

                    Moron.
What a dreamer. One who doesn't think rationally. Russias death rate far exceeds its birth rate. It is collapsing and you don't even realize it. And many more young men are dying.

You just don't realize how bad the situation is and you refuse to accept reality. Birth rates may be low in western countries, but the death rates are vastly lower. 1.75 by the way is awful, when your death rate is way pass that. And comparing to other eastern European countries is a stupid comparison.

By the way, insults show you have nothing. I was never heterosexual. I just don't have bull**** in my eyes. Oh and I never praised Putin. Useless fool that guy is... What kind of leader refuses to address basic problems? Putin!

No it ****ing isn't. The death rate exceeds the birth rate. The nation is dying and suffers from brain drain. The smartest and brightest all leave... And that leaves... People like you behind.

Btw,, 1.75 is awful for a country with a shrinking population. You need at least 2.1 to have population growth.

                      • I cannot think of a single nonauthoritarian communist government in history.

                        • it's true that there wasn't.

actually the whole thing with communism started suffering greatly when the crack downs in places like prague etc started happening.
Then most communist parties in europe got divided in two.
One that supported that (unfortunately in Greece we have one of the most hardcore there are) and one side that opposed it.

I guess those whole communist idea is more or less utopia (at least in its purest form) because it is always in the bhuman nature that some people will try everything in order to be leaders, while on the other hand there is a majority of people who are sheep to be led.
And also in the human nature that, without any independent control mechanisms in place, those who are in power are easily seduced into abusing this power

On the other hand the 5 years plans that communist states had in the soviet states clearly was lacking any incentive to excel at work (why excelling at work if it doesn't enable you to climb a career ladder or get you better pay (and the only thing you get for superb performance is some plaque that says: "Worker of the month"))

                            • Capitalism doesn't really give you any incentive if you excel at work. Most people who do are still kept down in the same crap job and just do it to keep their jobs. Meanwhile the guys at the top run off with all the money (a certain Presidential candidate running for the GOP is infamous for this).

It depends on the job ... sure, some low paying jobs like cashier at a supermarket or assembly-line worker don't give you any incentive at all ...
but many jobs have a career ladder (with better pay and/or more leisure time at the higher positions)

On the other hand I would say that capitalism in its purest form is a bad idea as well.
Better are mixed forms, like the social market economy we have in germany
