Our agriculture sector is just fine, you moron. That's why we are embargoing Euros and yours food on our market. We are food exporters as well as importers, but you know what? That happens when you have an open market and it is incorporated to the global market. We can't grow pineapples and bananas here no matter how we try, due to such little thing as climate. Not that we can do anything about the people's tastes - some people always prefer French wines or Western whiskies over domestic alcohols (the price doesn't matter). If you are a part of global economy - you are doomed to export some, no matter what. Any supermarket nearby my house is no much different from any American supermarket. The manufacturers might differ, but the variety of goods is the same (and for the most case - trademarks are the same). Are you really that stupid to think we don't have McDonald or Ikea or KFC in my home city in the middle of Siberia? Your corporations are here for decades - all across the Russia - wrt every aspect. But the good thing is that wrt to food -we buy domestic, despite we have a choice.
