The kid's only issue at this point is that he's dead, and no amount of petty theft charges or pictures of him looking like a thug or any other amount of bull**** will justify this.

I can only respond to the input I receive.

I've read today that there is speculation Brown may have been involved in a convenient store robbery earlier in the day. There's some blurry camera footage. The officer involved in his shooting will have to face a legal process. But from what I understand, it is not legal to shoot a running suspect in the back unless (and forgive me, I'm paraphrasing some legalese BS from another site) there's an ongoing danger to the public.

So yeah, the shooting seems to have been indefensible. The FBI will conduct their investigation and official conclusions shall be reached. I'm obviously not a part of that process. I'm not sure why my reactions or opinions on the matter are so upsetting.

A kid died. Seems like any possible outrage should be focused on that.

Nobody has claimed Brown was shot in the back and this is a perfect example of making **** up. The whole point of Johnson's story and what is pissing the residents off the most is he states Brown was shot while stationary and surrendering with his hands up talking to the officer, not running away with his back turned.

All the police will say is Brown was shot 35 feet away from the car (note NOT shot from 35 feet away)

Those who think the officer is in the wrong better hope nobody else says they saw him get shot in the back (or that the coroner doesn't say so) because then the primary witness with the best vantage point becomes an overt liar. Good luck with a trial then.

The store that was robbed has also been looted by those claiming to want justice. Like the London riots the incident is being used to justify criminality. It'd be different if there wasn't going to be an investigation, but it is no different from a lynch mob mentality coupled with criminal sympathies.
