Any girl I end up with is going to have to be accepting of the fact that I'm pedantic.

I don't disagree. However, it may not be the most attractive quality.
Don't get me wrong. I would encourage everyone to be who they are.
For instance, when I write a profile, I don't lead with the fact that I regularly post on a gaming forum, acting like a jackass, with an ass for an avatar. (or that I'm stoned 12 hrs a day and prefer watching oral sex scenes)
But nevertheless, any woman I meet will have to, at the very least, tolerate this.To us, it is the BEAST.

Dunno. There's no guarantee the first guy she starts dating after me is the guy she wants to spend the rest of her life (and start a family) with.
So, my ex wasn't all like, "Yeah, I think we should see each other people because... let's say I want to have children or something." At the very beginning of our relationship, we told each other it wasn't going to last forever because she wanted kids and I didn't. Then we fell in love and dated for four years. About a year and a half ago, she broke down in tears because she had come to the conclusion that she didn't want to wait any longer to start having children, and she assumed this meant the end of our relationship. We decided to give it another six months while I figured things out, at which point we were going to sit down and have a conversation. At the end of that six months, I realized I still wasn't ready to have kids, so we broke up. Again, there was a ****ton of crying, and for the first month or so after the breakup I was handling my **** a lot better than she was.
The ex and I did not have a perfect relationship, but we had a damn good one. Our biggest problem (outside the children thing) was that we weren't perfectly compatible sexually. But this was a problem we were dealing with out in the open, so had that been the reason she wanted to break up with me, she would have told me.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

My first girlfriend was crazier than I was. My second girlfriend got very, very angry at me because of my mental health issues. My third girlfriend (the ex) constantly told me how I wasn't as bad as I said I was, just like you guys always say.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.

Assuming every poster presents themselves as they truly are (bad assumption), ahead of me I'd put EvC, Fez, AAHZ, BK, Wiglaf, Zylka, Pekka, Kidicious... that's all I can think of right now. So that's me at #9.Click here if you're having trouble sleeping.
