The threat of advertisers pulling ads is usually not that big a deal to big shows. It's been done to Rush Limbaugh repeatedly. They just get replaced by other advertisers, usually for only marginally less than before, and the prices quickly come back up. The only important thing is that they don't lose viewers. And comments like this don't generally lower ratings. Controversy increases them.If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?

Fair and legal are different things. When I said it was unfair, I did not say they should not be allowed to do it.
Also, Imran, what you're talking about are at-will employment laws, which are in place in all the US states and territories. Right to work only refers to not being forced to join a union. You work for the labor department, how do you mix that up?
