Are you saying I'm not objective, because I teach facts about the Catholic church that you don't like? Seems to me that I'm the objective one here, whereas you are not.
Pope Francis might think that you're too ideologically obsessive, at the expense of adhering to and living by the true spirit of Catholicism.

I'm surprised. Haven't you, in past threads, expressed support for companies to fire their employees for whatever personal reasons the boss may have?
I've expressed support for Catholic schools firing gay people because their job is to teach the Catholic faith. It's also in their contract that they have to abide by the rules of the Catholic church. If they don't like that contract they shouldn't sign it. Public endorsement of gay marriage puts them in breach of contract.

Robertson has a contract. If A+E chooses to fire them prior to the end of their contract, then they are in breach of contract and should pay the penalties associated. I have no problem if A+E chooses to do this. It is their right as an employer to terminate a contract prematurely, but they have to pay the penalties for breach of contract.

Suspending him? That's just bull****. Does it say anywhere in his contract that he's not permitted to speak out about his Christian faith? No? Then A+E is outta luck. They can argue that 'Duck Dynasty' was hurting their bottom line, but that would be difficult to prove given that it is their flagship show. I can't see why a judge would conclude that it was to the benefit of A+E shareholders to do so.

As he's my employer, feel free to write him a complaint. Make sure you spell my name right.

            Careful what you ask for:

Pope Francis, in naming bishops to a powerful Vatican committee, replaced a conservative American cardinal with another American considered more of a moderate on social issues.

Oh, let's also not forget how "educated" the Ducky Dynasty imbeciles are, on race and the history of American slavery.

I suggest you read that quote again, because you obviously didn't understand it.

Protip: Phil's whole thing is that regardless of your station and circumstances in life faith and Jesus and love of family will lead to happiness now and in eternity. Does that sound like a message certain black institutions like to preach to their attentive flocks? As a faithful person yourself, I am surprised you don't grasp the concept regardless if you agree.

Maybe certain ones, but most of the black churches I know are very active in combating discrimination and fighting injustice. You know, like the Southern Christian Leadership Conference was in the 1960s.

Like I said Koya, please write to Francis complaining about how you have a catechist who is one of the sourpusses. Make sure you spell my name correctly.

We've been through this before with Paula Deen. I'm reminded of gen-u-wine grade-a race huckster Jesse Jackson. How did Tawana Brawley advance the cause of racial harmony?
