I don't know a percentage off the top of my head. I don't memorize that kind of crap. I do know that medicaid probably covers more people than it should. I would say if you are making more than 35,000 a year you probably should get catastrophic coverage. That's a ballpark. I'm being conservative, most likely it should be lower. NHS budget = £95.6bn ~ $150bn for 60m people
Medicaid budget = $415bn for 70m people.
Wow. Wouldn't actually cost that much more per year to scrap medicaid and insurance and give everyone an NHS, and everyone would be better off. Obviously a terrible idea.

Oh yeah, also, medicaid should be vouchers, which would put medicaid patients on the private insurance market. Such people would be best off getting low deductible plans of course. Would also make medicaid drastically more efficient, allowing it to pay doctors more. Medicaid patients would get better care and taxpayers would pay less.If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?
