Umm, again - do you blame Palin for the loss in 2008? Blaming Cruz for McAuliffe winning is ridiculous. For one - McAuliffe outspent Cucinelli by 15x to one. Do you think maybe that might shift opinions slightly in his favor?

Seriously. The party did everything you wanted. They nominated the 'sane solid candidate'. They backstabbed all the conservatives along the way, and what did they get? They lost the presidency and lost ground in the Senate.

When is it going to every stop being the fault of the conservatives, and when is it going to start being the fault of the RINOs?

Next election loss. Chris Christie loses big. Democrats win. Republicans shocked when they lose for the third straight time nominating moderates.

Todd Akin lost North frickin Dakota? Romney had the negative coattails, that all the polls showed. He had a depressive effect on turnout which cost the Republicans gains in the Senate and the presidency. The argument for Romney basically amounted to "he sucked less than all the others," which is a stunning reason to vote for a candidate.

Not hard to believe. The GOP has declared war on the tea party. The RNC spent more on Byrne to defeat a primary challenger than they spent on Cucinelli to help him defeat McAuliffe. Does this strike you as an especially sound strategy? It sounds to me like a recipe for losers.
