Which is why the Constitution explicitly exempts those born abroad prior to the enactment of the Constitution. Logic suggests that only those born on American soil are considered natural born citizens of the united states.The Constitution does not define the phrase natural-born citizen

According to the law of the United States - he's a naturalized citizen.According the the law of the United States, Cruz is a Natural Born Citizen of this country. The law doesn't care about the existence of Canada. That law cited above, gives the father's nationality priority over the mother, meaning that Cruz is considered Cuban first, American second. 
When you take everything into account, it's Canadian, Cuban and then American.

You are a wrong, of course, Ben.
If you meet certain requirements, you may become a U.S. citizen either at birth or after birth.
To become a citizen at birth, you must:
Have been born in the United States or certain territories or outlying possessions of the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction of the United States; OR
had a parent or parents who were citizens at the time of your birth (if you were born abroad) and meet other requirements
