I think it should be legal for private charities to collect funds for this purpose, yes. Would I support it with my own money? No. Would I support public funding going towards charities for this purpose, also no. I think people should fund their worthy causes themselves.

One of the reasons AIDS transmission rates are so high in Africa is because the Catholic church's anti-contraception message means it's hard to get barrier contraception, which means that females are more likely to engage in a*al sex to avoid pregnancy, which has much higher transmission rates for HIV.

They form overlapping webs of relationships. A person is most contagious when first infected due to the body not having any reaction to the virus yet. Therefore when a person becomes infected the disease is rapidly spread to the other members of that persons web, and so on.
