I can't believe that someone who thinks that entering into a formalized relationship that is based on trust would think that's it a good idea to question "that trust" as part of the process. Seems a bit hypocritical to me.
"Everybody lies".
The question that has to be answered, "would I be more understanding if I found out before, or after?"
It's not a dealbreaker for me - but I have to know what I'm getting into - just like she has to know about my disability and the chance of passing it on to our children.
I am very up front about that - I have told folks on the first date before - sometimes even before I meet them. I'm old enough now that, "are you into having kids" will come up pretty quick.
