Despite all of my complaining, I will say the game looks really pretty, and if the balance/etc. is improved some it looks like it'll be a lot of fun to play. Just wish they'd done a proper beta first...
Honestly that's probably the most irritating thing - they could've done a full beta stress test on their servers. They had plenty of people wanting to play. The fact that they didn't implies that either they didn't fully understand how to test their servers and such, or that they sort of knew the answers and didn't want it to get out that the servers were going to have problems. You know what's really pissing me off. Every goddamn story I read about this game, the pictures look all pretty and neat. But then I just noticed in small print "concept art" in a pic. I was looking at the way lots line up and even connect to irregular streets in the back via this nice looking sidewalk and green space. But the real game is full of all sorts of graphic artifacts. Lots grow sloppy and disjointed. It's just more bait and switch **** from ****ing EA.
And I can't tell if Wiggy is actually an apologist for their crap at times or just trolling... or doing like a Stephen Colbert type thing... mocking a hypothetical response from an indignant PR rep or Chinese spammer being paid to say positive things about the game.
