No offense, but it isn't the government that that allows this, it's the voters that do that. if you want a better life, then vote on people that will do that isntead of the usual criminals.

There are laws and regs that "make us safe" from guns too (as if TB cares about laws). But if I have a right to know if my neighbor has a gun, I sure as **** have a right to know if he's got a communicable disease. After all, privacy means nothing to you, right?
No, there are no laws that tell wich people to avoid due to their gun ownership. This article actually do something good by telling wich people to avoid

You as usual ignore that there are a big differece between guns that kill an curable diseases.
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

That'd be a splendid idea if our politicians weren't already bought and paid for. Maybe if they weren't such a bunch of scoundrels, I'd have a bit more faith in their taking my best interests at heart in regards to my guns.

Well, if you're only concerned with guns that kill, then the hundreds of millions that have never killed shouldn't concern you.

      • Texas is a gun state, more likely to expand gun rights after a mass killing than to restrict them. While there are proposals to buy back guns or restrict sales, Texas leaders are pushing to allow guns in more places.

Well, I see you problem - either you vote as a patriotic americam or you use your vote to change the system and then have black choppers hoovering over your house - hooray for democracy

              • It depends on your perspective. I'll never understand how some people think that making guns illegal will take away guns from criminals. I just don't get it.

The problem with ag bills is that the big ag companies care a lot more about it than the average citizen. So they pour money and attention into the bills, while most people go about their daily lives. You wind up with a lot of corporate welfare, and even more corn and soy.

That is a lesson that you just have to learn Most european countries have bans on guns and have no problem with criminals going crazy with guns.

The main reason criminals are armed is because they expect their victims to be armed.

A couple of years ago I scared of two burglars just by yelling at them. If guns had been comon, I would probably have been dead.

That number is really, really dubious and is basically determined by counting the number of rounds the military ships out to the war zone and dividing it by the number of dead enemies.

Obviously it includes training, suppressive fire, and just guys blowing off steam, but the point is that the vast majority of bullets fired don't kill anybody.

                            • The vast majority of nuclear devices detonated last century didn't kill anyone either.

                              • Only the U.S. government killed anybody with nukes. Obviously they're the ones you want to trust with guns.
