Yes, they are. Hearing Aids are only covered in Quebec. Newfoundland will cover it if you qualify for disability (which I don't). I work too much to qualify for disability. Ontario will cover some of it if you qualify for disability. Everyone else is a no.

Ha, you've got Marion "***** set me up" Barry on your side...the CFA near me did some pretty brisk business, but nothing near a forty-minute delay. The line reached to the door, the drive-through was backed up--but that's only maybe 50% busier than a typical lunch hour. They always get slammed. What they've lost in business to the gay-rights crowd (who probably weren't a huge market for them anyway), they've likely gained with interest from their conservative Christian base. And that base tends to buy an average of 2.3 kid's meals along with their sandwiches.

I would chalk it up more to their manifest idiocy in trying to grandstand about it instead of quietly killing it in some committee. "Hey we're going to keep this business out because their founder has uncool opi--eh? Wuzzat?" The correct way to keep undesirables out of town is to mangle them in the iron wheels of bureaucracy before turning to wink at your supporters.
